% README_doc of the French Pro distribution for \AllTeX (directory doc)

CAUTION : ALL FILES HAVE CHANGED since the last distribution.

This material was designed to help (La)TeX users to print French documents
i.e. according to French typographic habits. Here are the source files for
producing the documentation.

The FrenchPro distribution, as prvided by his author is composed of 
other directories. The "doc" directory hosts the following files :

DROIT.pdf     : article on Internet legal matters
artET98.pdf   : article published for EuroTeX'98 in St Malo, France.
fenglish_doc.pdf: the documented file of fenglish.sty
frdoc.tex     : the basic French documentation source file used to compose:
french_doc.pdf: the code of FrenchPro with its comments and the Copyright
frenchlu.tex  : the LaTeX users manual and installation manual for
                the FrenchPro package (source file). 
frguide.tex   : just the user's guide (source file).
frguide.pdf   : printable FrenchPro users's guide.
frenchle.pdf  : printable frenchle users's guide
frenchpro.pdf : the printable FrenchPro doc is ALIRE.pdf.
msg.pdf       : printable documentation about the "msg" package.
mymaj.sty     : a style to print change bars (used in previous files)
myfroptn.sty  : a sample of personal style file with FrenchPro options

other *.pdf files are source files provided in a pdf printable format.

Your optional "TO DO" list: (the documentation is already provided in the
==========================    master directory: ALIRE.pdf)

1- (I hope you have already generated kb7to8 and kb8to7)
   Convert the file frdoc.tex and frenchlu.tex to 8-bit.
2- Then the commands: [frpdf]latex frenchlu
                      makeindex -s fridx1.ist frenchlu
                      [frpdf]latex frenchlu
   would normally provide a readable complete French documentation, 
   i mean a [.pdf/].dvi file that could be previewed or printed via the 
   appropriate driver. This should normally provide the same
   viewed file as ALIRE.pdf in the root directory.
3- Move frguide.pdf adn frldoc.pdf to the documentation directory 
   where you want the user find it.
